Jean Edwards, 2007


Jean Edwards is a vocal soloist living in Toronto, Canada, concentrating on baroque and early music, as well as lieder, parlour songs and lullabies.

During the last few years she has produced three solo recordings and has continued to perform in concerts. The most recent recording "Song Journey" represents the journey of her life. The album is illustrated by paintings of the beautiful area surrounding Creemore, Ontario. These are paintings by her son, Douglas Edwards, who is a successful, well established artist. You can see his work at Jean's other son's are successful and established in their own right. David Edwards is also an artist across multiple mediums, as well as a computer systems analyst, and his work can be found at Paul Edwards, an established lawyer with Gowlings in Calgary, Alberta, has been practising for over 30 years. You can find him at James Edwards is a freelance translator of French and German living in Montreal. John Edwards has a life long passion for building and carving with wood and presently works as a set builder in the movie industry.

Jean's late husband, Stan Edwards, was a successful tax lawyer with Fraser Beatty, now Denton's, for over 60 years.
